We are seeking part time host/hostess, must be available to work during weekday, evening and weekend. Prior working experience as a host is a must. Please do not apply if have no relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and professional demeanor. Engage in pleasant conversation and make them feel welcome.

• Seating Arrangements: Manage the seating process efficiently, taking into account reservations, table availability, and server rotations. Ensure that guests are seated promptly and appropriately according to their preferences and group size.

• Maintaining Waitlist: Keep track of waiting guests and estimate wait times accurately. Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest expectations effectively.

• Handling Reservations: Take reservations over the phone, via email, or through an online booking system. Confirm reservations and organize seating accordingly.

• Coordinating with Servers: Communicate with servers to ensure they are aware of new guests, seating arrangements, and any special requests or considerations. Facilitate smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

• Providing Information: Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and special promotions. Provide recommendations and assist guests in making informed choices.

• Maintaining Cleanliness: Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the host/hostess station and surrounding areas. Ensure that menus, seating charts, and other materials are tidy and organized.

• Handling Guest Concerns: Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Take appropriate actions to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Upselling and Promotions: Promote special menu items, beverages, or promotions to guests to enhance their dining experience and increase revenue.

• Assisting with Other Duties: Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed, such as bussing tables, refilling condiments, or running food orders.
